Latin Dancing (Ballroom)

Latin dancing is a term that is normally used to include a wide range of dances originating in Latin America, Puerto Rico and Cuba. There are many social dances that are also grouped under latin dancing such as salsa, bachata, merengue and even Argentinian tango; however generally in international competitive ballroom dancing, latin dancing only includes five styles: cha-cha, rumba, jive, samba and paso doble.
