Swinging The Night Away

We grooved the night away to swing music at Talent Hub. Read all about it and take a look at our photos!
Live band, wooden floor, finger food. Now all you need are your dance shoes.
The end of April saw a group of cool cats dancing the night away at Swing Social! Organised by Talent Hub and co-hosted by KL Swing, the swing dance party saw a great turnout with dancers decked out in tartans and plaids. It was evident that many of them were regular swing dancers, judging from the way they were twirling on the dance floor.
It was a highly anticipated party by many of the swing dancing folk, who usually attend socials on Tuesdays at Sid's Pub in Bangsar. KL Swing has been giving swing dance lessons at Talent Hub for the past few months now, and it was the perfect time and place to let both regulars as well as beginners to dance socially.
The music was impeccably provided by Kevin T and his band, and it was evident that the crowd loved the live music because every song was met with resounding applause.
The crowd was also treated to Shim Sham, which is a swing line dance popular in the swing community. Highly fun and easy-to-follow, the dance was led by KL Swing and everyone was free to join in.
Everyone was quite sorry when the party ended a little after 10pm. Let's hope to see more of these Swing Socials coming up soon!
